Fire in Northwest Reno May Have Been Started by Juveniles

The Reno Fire Department knocked down a brush fire in northwest Reno on Sunday morning that threatened buildings. The fire was reported behind the 6700 block of Alicante Court at about 10:33 a.m. It burned less than half an acre. The Reno Fire Department credited quick action by the firefighters first on scene with keeping flames from spreading to homes. The fire may have been started by three juveniles seen on video.
