The Nevada Veterans Memorial Plaza will be celebrating the completion of phase one of the project in Sparks, with a ribbon cutting ceremony followed by a reenactment of the famous raising of the flag at Iwo Jima. All Veterans are encouraged to come out for the ceremony and take part in the symbolic photograph. It starts at 830 am Veterans Day, November 11th at Sparks Marina, 300 Howard Drive.
