CDC Vaping “Breakthough” Seems to Clear Legal Vapes and Shops

U.S. health officials are reporting a breakthrough in their investigation into the cause of an outbreak of vaping illnesses. A government lab found the same chemical compound in lung fluid from 29 patients. The compound, vitamin E acetate, was previously found in vaping fluid used by many of those who got sick. It isn’t found in legal products sold in convenience stores or legal vape shops, like Juul or Vuse, but is a common black market ingredient. CDC said it is continuing to test for a wide range of chemicals. The “Vape Panic” has caused many legal shops lost business, some are going out of business.
