Reno Firefighters are investigating a house fire in Stead. Apparently butane gas exploded in a duplex kitchen, as part of a marijuana extraction. Three people were inside at the time, a woman, and two teenage boys. The two boys suffered burns to their hands, the woman’s hair was singed. The kitchen was badly damaged and the home is uninhabitable. The suspects left without getting medical attention, or giving their names. They later went to a Reno hospital and were flown to a burn unit in Sacramento. The incident happened about 11am Tuesday.
