A 55 year old man is dead after being hit by a car while in a crosswalk on Vista Blvd in  Sparks. The crash happened about 6:22 pm Wednesday night. The pedestrian died at the scene, the driver is cooperating with the investigation and speed or impairment do not appear to be factors in the accident, according to Sparks Police.
