The Reno Sparks Association of Realtors report for December says home sales were up 30% from a year ago, and up 11 percent from November. The report listed the median sales price for an existing single-family residence in Reno/Sparks in December at $393,000; an 8 percent increase from last year and a 2 percent decrease from the previous month. The median sales price of an existing condominium/townhome in Reno/Sparks in December was $220,000; an increase of 10 percent from last year. In Reno alone the median for a single family home is $405,000; in Sparks it’s $367,000. The median price in Fernley has risen to $275,000.
