Reno-Tahoe International Hits a New Record

Reno-Tahoe International Airport has hit a new record, serving almost 4.5 million passengers in 2019. That’s up 5.7% over 2018, and the fifth consecutive increase. Passenger traffic is also up 35% since 2014 as a result of the introduction of larger aircraft on several west coast routes, and added flights to existing markets. In addition, markets that used to be seasonal, like United Airlines to Houston, were upgraded to daily, year-round service, also contributing to the increase in travelers through Reno last year.
