(RENO, Nev.) -- Police are on the lookout for a suspect who attempted to rob a cab driver at gunpoint Thursday evening.

The incident occurred just before 11:30 p.m. at 9th and Sutro Streets. According to a police report, the suspect exited a cab without paying the fare, displayed a gun and demanded the driver's wallet. The driver immediately drove away.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid twenties, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white beanie and a black jacket.
