(RENO, Nev.) -- The victim in a fatal crash was identified as a 24-year-old from Carson City on Saturday.

Kyle Banko was riding a motorcycle south of Reno on Saturday afternoon when he passed a Subaru Outback in a no-passing zone, according to the Reno Gazette Journal. Banko was thrown from the motorcycle when his bike collided with the side of the Subaru.

Banko was reportedly taken to the hospital by helicopter where he later died.

According to the Gazette Journal, no one in the car was injured. The investigation is ongoing.
