(RENO, Nev.) -- Just over two weeks after a gang shooting left a 16-year-old boy dead, two drive-by shootings occurred early Monday morning.
According to the Reno Gazette-Journal, the 300 block of Broadway Boulevard was the site of a pair of shootings within just a few hours Monday. The first incident occurred shortly after 1 a.m. and was followed by a second shooting at about 3 a.m.
A witness told the Journal-Gazette that between the two incidents, approximately 15-20 shots were fired. Two houses were reportedly struck by the gunfire, one of which was occupied, but no one was injured.
Police are investigating the incidents, according to the paper, which took place just one block from the site of the fatal gang shooting. Police believe that it is too early to determine if these incidents are also gang-related.
