(SPARKS, Nev.) -- A Reno teenager has been arrested by police on charges of discharging a firearm and eluding police, following an incident in Sparks over the weekend.
Sparks Police say late Friday night officers in the area of Rail City spotted a vehicle, from which an occupant was firing a handgun. Officers attempted to pull over the vehicle, however, police say the driver refused to comply and sped off.
A police statement said on the 1100 block of 20th Street the three occupants of the vehicle got out and ran from officers. A 17-year-old suspect was eventually taken into custody, while the other suspects managed to elude to capture.
