(RENO, Nev.) -- The Reno Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect in an armed robbery early Thursday morning.

The incident took place at 4:01 a.m. at the 7-11 at Peckham and Neil. The suspect reportedly entered the store and simulated a handgun to the clerk. He then stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot.

This robbery does not appear to be related to the AM/PM robbery on Wednesday, police said.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, 170 to 190 pounds.
