A Citifare bus driver is dead after an accident in Stead Friday. The two-vehicle crash between the bus and a small passenger car happened in the area of Silver Lake and Silver Sky just after 7:30 Friday evening. While the bus & car drivers were exchanging information, a third vehicle barreled into the bus driver. Police say it appears the setting sun made visibility poor for all drivers headed west. The RTC and MV transit released a statement saying they are deeply saddened by this tragic news and that their thoughts and prayers are with the family of the bus driver, and fellow coach operators.
