Republican Rep. Joe Heck has a $1.4 million cash advantage over his Democratic opponent as they head into a tough Senate race. Heck’s campaign reported $4.8 million in cash at the end of June and raised $1.8 million in the three-month quarter. Democratic former Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto ended the quarter with $3.4 million cash, but had a stronger fundraising period and raised nearly $3 million in three months.
