The NV Energy Foundation continued its tradition of giving back to the communities it serves by donating $1.1 million in the first quarter of 2018 to Nevada nonprofits that support education and youth. The NV Energy Foundation is funded by NV Energy, not its customers. In northern Nevada, $418,000 in grants were provided to 28 organizations including Arts for All Nevada, Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows, DRI Foundation- Science Alive, Junior Achievement of Northern Nevada and Sierra Nevada Journeys.
