The Lake Tahoe Wildfire preparation workshop is Thursday. It’s all about fire adapted communities, showing how to prepare your home and family for wildfire. Supporters like the U.S. Forest Service say in the Tahoe Basin fires are not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when the next wildfire will occur. The event is 530 to 7pm at Fairway Community Center, 330 fairway Drive in Tahoe City.
