An all-terrain vehicle accident in the Gardnerville Ranchos killed one person and left another critically injured Saturday. The person who died has been identified as Monica Quiroga of Gardnerville. The crash happened at the sandpits at the Gardnerville Ranchos. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says Russell Swanson was injured in the incident and was taken to Renown Regional Medical Center for treatment. He is listed in good condition.
