Free Medical Clinics Planned For March & April

People in Northern Nevada who are uninsured, underinsured, or without a social security number can receive free medical care this March and April at upcoming University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine Student Outreach Clinics. UNR Med offers the free clinics to assist the region’s medically uninsured with needed services. The free clinics offer a variety of services, including flu shots, gynecological exams, blood pressure monitoring and general physicals. They also offer pediatric services such as head start physicals, sick visits and immunizations for children. Patients are seen on a first-come, first-serve basis and must sign in by 10:00 a.m. for Saturday clinics and 7:30 p.m. for Tuesday clinics. The next is March 2nd at UNR Med’s Family Medicine Center at 123 17th Street in Reno.
