Two Nevadan’s Caught Up in College Bribery Scandal

Two Nevadan’s are facing charges in the college admissions bribery scheme involving about 50 others, including coaches, parents and Hollywood actresses. Federal prosecutors named former casino executive Gamal Abdelaziz and media executive Elisabeth Kimmel in the conspiracy and fraud. Prosecutors say Abdelaziz, who goes by the name Gamal Aziz,  paid $300,000 to get his daughter into the USC as an athletic recruit. She did not play for USC. Kimmel is accused of paying $525,000 in bribes to ensure her daughter’s admission to Georgetown University and her son’s admission to USC, also as purported athletic recruits.
