A Reno man will spend three years in prison after pleading guilty to possession of child pornography. 31-year-old Randall Linschied, was sentenced Tuesday in Washoe District Court. According to court documents, he had used a peer-to-peer file-sharing network to download nearly 2,200 images and videos of child pornography over a span of 16 years. Investigators say the images were found on an external hard drive. In addition to the prison term, he will have supervised release, and must register as a sex offender.
