Secret Witness is offering a $1,500 reward or information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the hit and run causing death of 79-year-old Roy Degiovanni, of Sparks. February 16th at approximately 2:35 a.m. Sparks Police and Fire Departments and REMSA responded to a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian traffic crash on northbound Goldy Way at Woodstone Drive in Sparks. It was determined a black Toyota vehicle traveling northbound on Goldy Way struck a pedestrian crossing Goldy Way. The driver of the black Toyota fled the scene. The vehicle should be missing a piece the driver’s side bumper and parking lamp.
