Only minor injuries are reported after a collision between a cement truck and an Amtrak train. It was reported around 10:20 Thursday morning along I-80 near Derby Dam. Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating. It isn’t yet clear what led to the crash. The train did not derail according to Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District. Two people were taken to the hospital, another was treated at the scene.
