Ten New Coronavirus Cases Reported Monday in Washoe County

Ten new Coronavirus cases and one death were reported Monday in Washoe County. There are now 1,266 positive COVID-19 tests , and the death total is 48. Washoe County reported 54 new COVID-19 cases and one death Sunday, the largest single-day spike in cases. The County expects numbers to increase as testing expands. Nearly half the cases are from an outbreak at Arbors Memory Care in Sparks. Arbors says they have implemented extra precautions since March to keep residents and staff safe, calling that the top priority. The first positive test was reported May 12th, more test results are expected soon.
