Local Casinos Hoping to Welcome Back Guests Next Month

The Peppermill Casino Resort, like most casinos in the Silver State, are preparing to welcome back guest to their properties, possibly by early next month.  The resort is already excepting room reservations for June 1st. Besides coronavirus testing for every employee, the resort is also taking a number of other precautions to keep guests safe. Stephen Ascagua with the Peppermill talks about the changes coming to the gaming floor.

The Nugget Casino Resort is getting their property ready for guests and a reopen. Mark Sturbens with Marnell Gaming talks about some of the precautions they’re taking for their employees and visitors.

And, for now, they still plan to host Star Spangled Sparks in July, but the VIP area and pre-event activities will likely be curtailed, if the event goes on. As for the Best In the West Nugget Rib Cookoff, the casino says they’ll decide soon to go on the event, but that decision is still up in the air.
