Truckee Meadows fire crews quickly knocked down a small brush fire at Mineral Ave and Sidehill Dr in Sun Valley Monday night. The fire was reported around 9:45 p.m. and was extinguished before 10:30. Approximately a quarter-acre was burned, but no structures were damaged. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
