Charges have been dropped against a man initially accused in a fatal hit-and-run in Sparks, and a new suspect, with the same last name, is in custody.  The Sparks Police Department arrested 23-year-old Luis Guerrero Monday, on charges of Open Murder, and other charges in what they believe was a deliberate Hit and Run. They says in late July a driver intentionally ran down a group of people walking along Battle Born Way after a fight at the Grand Sierra Resort. An 18 year old woman was killed. Police initially arrested 25-year-old Juan Guerrero, but additional evidence led the district attorney’s office to dismiss the charges against him.
