Reno Gleaning Project Looking For Fruit Donations

The Reno Gleaning Project brought in a record high for their harvest this year, with almost 15,000 pounds of fruit collected by the non profit. Last year they pick and distributed 11,000 pounds to local organizations like the Boys and Girls Club. Pam Maines with the project says they hope more people sign up to donate their un-used fruit, because they have a target they’re hoping to hit in the next couple of years.

Sign up to pick fruit or donate your extras on their homepage at renogleaningproject.org.
