One person was taken to the hospital with injuries after being shot near the Motel 6 on Prater Way in Sparks Tuesday afternoon. According to police, it happened just after 3 p.m. The victim was taken to the hospital and it is unknown if a suspect has been arrested. Police say they believe the shooter likely knew the victim.  The condition of the victim has not been released.
