Sparks Fire Department responded to a brush fire near I-80 and Vista Blvd just before 8:00 last night. The fire is now contained and crews are on scene mopping up hot spots. There were no reported injuries, and no buildings damaged by the fire. The Sparks Fire Department received help from multiple agencies including Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue, The Reno Fire Department, The Nevada Division of Forestry and the Bureau of Land Management.
