New information released about an officer involved shooting in Sparks Tuesday night. Officers responded to the Iron Horse Shopping Center and made contact with a man who they were told was armed with a machete. Investigators say he ran from police, things escalated and officers shot him. Reno police, the lead agency investigating says the man was armed with a large knife which he brandished, and police were responding to 911 calls about a man with a Machete screaming and a woman crying for help at the shopping center.
