Governor Lombardo vetoed Assembly Bill 250, the Affordable Medicine Act. The legislation would have lowered the costs of certain prescription drugs an estimated 25 to 60 percent by extending Medicare-negotiated rates in the Inflation Reduction Act to all Nevadans.
