The Reno Police Department were involved in a standoff on Manhattan Street Tuesday morning that led to the arrest of a stabbing suspect. Frazier Pierce Young of Reno was arrested on charges of open murder with a deadly weapon. No one was injured in the short standoff near Traner Middle School. The original stabbing happened Sunday around 5 a.m., police were called to Eighth and Spokane streets just north of Interstate 80 on a report of a man in the street bleeding. First responders made life-saving efforts, but the man died at the scene.
