(Reno, NV) — The Rancho Fire has burned 700 acres of land in Washoe County with no containment. The fire started on Thursday afternoon, in the Rancho Haven area. Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue says the fire is burning on a ridge line off of Chuckwagon Road. The fire is spreading quickly due to wind and steep terrain. Evacuation orders were lifted Friday morning.
