
(Incline Village, NV) — The Washoe County Commission is approving a motion related to redevelopment in Incline Village. The item was passed during Tuesday’s meeting. It allows the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency to redevelop a portion of the Incline Village town center. Officials want to transform the area into affordable, moderate and achievable multi-family housing. It wasn’t a popular decision, with hundreds of residents speaking out against the proposal during the meeting. People voiced concerns about rising prices in the area, parking availability, emergency preparedness and a disregard for environmental regulations.
