(Reno, NV) — A heartfelt day at Renown Children’s Hospital as Reno Aces pitcher Casey Kelly visited with patients and their families Friday morning.
Visiting the pediatrics department, Kelly showed gratitude for being able to help brighten their day.
Kelly hopes the patients find strength and encouragement with the visit.
When asked about what the visit meant to him, Kelly said the children’s strength and courage will resonate with him throughout the foreseeable future.
Kelly also said it was a humbling experience to spend some of his day with Renown’s patients.
Earlier this year, infielder Tristin English had a similar visit to Renown.
