(Carson City, NV) — Financial and DMV data is not among the data that was compromised in the recent statewide cyberattack. Governor Joe Lombardo provided an update on the investigation on Thursday. He says it appears the compromised data did not include state bank account numbers, treasury funds or state budget payment systems. There is also no apparent harm to DMV databases, and officials have no evidence that DMV information was taken. That includes vehicle registration information, driver’s license data and personal details from DMV records. Last week, officials announced data was moved out of the state’s network during the cyberattack, which was discovered on August 24th.
