Man Gets 45 Years to Life in Prison For Kidnapping, Sexual Assault and Battery

(Reno, NV) — A man from Reno is heading to prison after being convicted of sexual assault, kidnapping and battery. On Monday, 33-year-old George Claros was sentenced to 45 years to life in prison. He was arrested in November of 2021. Prosecutors say he picked up a woman walking down Fourth Street and sexually assaulted her multiple times. A jury found Claros guilty of the crimes this past March.
