(Las Vegas, NV) — Parts of Nevada’s government were shut down again more than two weeks after a major cyberattack. For a few hours on Tuesday, several state employees were unexpectedly locked out of their email accounts. The governor’s technology office confirms it sent a mass password reset to state emails at about noon. Many of the employees had trouble resetting their accounts, which in turn, shut down operations. State officials are still working to recover services impacted by the cyberattack.
