(Carson City, NV) — Legal gun sales can resume in Nevada. The statewide gun background check system has been restored following last month’s cyberattack. The Brady Firearms Unit background was fully operational as of eight o’clock Sunday morning. It had been out of commission for three weeks. The state is still dealing with some of the fallout from the ransomware-based cyberattack in other areas. On Friday, Governor Joe Lombardo announced 90 percent of state websites are back online.
