(Carson City, NV) — One person is in custody after a SWAT standoff at a home in Carson City. Three children were also recovered safely from the home after the incident, which lasted several hours. Deputies were initially sent to the home at about noon Thursday to conduct a welfare check on elementary school children. The adults in the home refused to bring the kids out. The standoff ended at about 9 p.m. Thursday night.
