(Reno, NV) — Northern Nevada is seeing a tourism decline similar to the one in Las Vegas. The Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority is reporting a small decrease in both hotel occupancy and revenue in July and August. President and CEO Mike Larragueta says specific figures are not yet available. But, the RSCVA says it still managed to outperform its budget in July and August. More than 50 percent of visitors to the Reno-Tahoe region come from next-door in California.
