The Pro Football Hall of Fame has announced its nominees for the 2026 class. The list is made up of 128 individuals, including 13 players entering their first year of eligibility. Running back Frank Gore, tight end Vernon Davis and quarterback Alex Smith headlined a group of 16 former 49ers to be named nominees. Quarterback Rich Gannon, punter Shane Lechler and guard Steve Wisniewski were apart of the group of former Raiders to be named nominees. The list will be reduced to 50 in October.
