(Reno, NV) — Reports of a man with a rifle nearby prompted a lockdown of multiple schools in Reno. The reports were made to police on Thursday morning. The Washoe County School District placed Smithridge Elementary and Pine Middle School on lockdown, while the RPD advised Coral Academy. Police later determined no crime was committed. It turns out, the man was carrying a rifle in a case from a nearby business to his car.
