(Carson City, NV) — Dozens of new laws passed by Nevada state lawmakers take effect today. A total of 173 laws are now in place. Wrong-way driving will once again be a criminal offense. There are now limits on rental application fees and landlords must provide tenants with a way to pay their rent without being charged an extra fee. You’ll now be able to order alcohol when you have food delivered. That new law allows ride share companies to bring booze to your house along with your food. Concert ticket sales must now include all fee information up front. That new law also requires refunds within 30 days if a show is canceled.
