(Reno, NV) — Danny Tarkanian is once again running for a statewide office. The Douglas County commissioner was recently elected to a second term, and once again, he has his eyes set on a higher office. This time he plans to run for Attorney General. Tarkanian’s father was a famous basketball coach at UNLV, and the younger Tarkanian first ran for political office in southern Nevada. He lost races for Congress, U.S. Senate and Nevada Secretary of State. He argues his success in northern Nevada should help him win the A-G’s race.
