(Elko, NV) — A gold miner is dead in Eureka County after an incident, but details are not yet being revealed. Nevada Gold Mines tells KOLO that Jeremy Smokey died from injuries he suffered on Tuesday at the Goldrush Underground mine. A company spokesperson said they’re focused on helping those impacted by the death. The Mine Safety and Health Administration is now at the site investigating.
