(Carson City, NV) — Governor Joe Lombardo thinks Nevada will only be hit hard by the federal government shutdown if it lasts more than a few weeks. On Wednesday, the Republican said a shutdown of less than three weeks would result in a “limited disruption to operations and services.” A longer shutdown would, in Lombardo’s words, “result in more significant challenges.” As with the rest of the nation, essential workers like military members and air traffic controllers must work without pay.
