(South Lake Tahoe, CA) — Politicians in South Lake Tahoe are having an historic week for all the wrong reasons. On Monday, we learned that Mayor Pro Tem Cody Bass was arrested back on September 26th across the border in Stateline, Nevada. Douglas County Sheriff’s deputies say he threatened to have workers at Lake Tahoe AleWorks killed. Bass is facing several misdemeanors for the incident at the pizza restaurant. On Monday, he told reporters that he did nothing wrong and looks forward to a trial. One day earlier, the mayor of South Lake Tahoe wrote a confession for an unrelated matter. Tamara Wallace told the Tahoe Daily Tribune that she stole money from a local church and went to treatment last month after she tried to commit suicide.
