(South Lake Tahoe, CA) — South Lake Tahoe’s city manager says everything is running normal, even as the city council is anything but normal. City Manager Joe Irvin posted a video saying city services are unaffected by investigations into elected leaders. And he says those politicians do not have access to city finances. That might be a reference to the South Lake Tahoe mayor’s admission that she stole money while working as a bookkeeper at a local church. Separately, the mayor pro tem says he’ll fight charges that he threatened to have people killed for kicking him out of a restaurant.
