(Carson City, NV) — State tourism officials are breaking ground on a second Nevada Adventure Center. The facility in Carson City comes a few weeks after an Adventure Center broke ground in Boulder City, near Lake Mead. They’re designed to be a hub for visitors and residents who want to explore Nevada. Tour operators and outfitters can use the Adventure Center as a basecamp for their operations. Businesses will be able to lease space in the Adventure Center and benefit from a planned marketing campaign by Travel Nevada. The new facilities should open in about 12 months.
